Vietnam, Samoa and Israel have recently incorporated to the Hague System of the international design registration.
The three countries have already deposited its instrument of adhesion to the Geneva Act (1999) of the Hague Agreement before the Director General of the WIPO, Francis Gurry.
The agreement will enter into force on December 30, 2019 in Vietnam, and on January 2 and 3, 2020 in Samoa and Israel, respectively.
With these new adhesions, there is a total of 73 Contracting Parties of the Hague Agreement, and there are 90 countries, in which an industrial design can be registered by means of a single international application and a single tax payment.
